Job: Level 1 Technician, Information Technology

Location: This position is located in Amarillo, TX. Local candidates only.
Responsibilities: The Level 1 Technician is responsible for assisting our clients with their technology issues. Support is both remote and on-site. Emphasis is placed on quality of work, efficiency of work execution, and ability to communicate effectively. Other duties as assigned.
To fulfill this role, the Level 1 Technician will:

  • Be client-facing and provide remote and on-site IT support
  • Work with a wide variety of technology and related issues
  • Work with a wide variety of clients in different sectors having various backgrounds and levels of technology experience and understanding
  • Document work performed
  • Communicate effectively with clients and in-house team (in person, on site, phone, and email)

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 6 months’ experience in IT
  • Awesome customer service skills, an exceptional ability to troubleshoot, excellent written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of MS Windows desktop environment, basic networking, A+ or similar a plus
  • The ability to prioritize and follow standardized procedures
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and with a team
  • A professional attitude with a high level of integrity and confidentiality; required to pass background check
